2640891 - Unable to add items to surveys

Symptom

You are unable to add items to a survey.

When you go to the "Item Usage" tab of a questionnaire survey, the option to add items is not displayed.

Environment

 SuccessFactors LMS

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Learning Administration, go to Learning > Questionnaire Surveys
  2. Search and open the survey.
  3. Go to the "Item Usage" tab.
  4. You can't see the option to add items.

Cause

You opened the survey in the "View Mode", as you can see in the screenshot above:

> Search > Search Results > View Item Usage

Resolution

Access the survey in the "Edit Mode" to add items:

When you search for the survey, you will see 2 icons for each results. The icon with the magnifier represents the "View Mode" and the icon with the pencil represents the "Edit Mode".
