When candidate is moved to Hired status, the Job Requisition is not closing automatically as expected.

For this scenario, we can list two possible causes:

1. The option in Manage Recruiting Settings "When number of remaining openings becomes less than one Automatically close requisitions with status XXX" is disabled.
2. Hired, or equivalent status in application status, belongs to a category other than "OnBoard" or "Hired"
3. Check if the available position was change from multiple to 1.

1.  Enable "When number of remaining openings becomes less than one Automatically close requisitions with status XXX" option
   
   A. Go to Admin Center> Manage Recruiting Settings.
   
   B. Scroll down to "Applicant Profile Settings" or search on the page for the option and enable it (1), also, a close status must be selected (2)**.
   ** The closed status must have its value setup as 99999 (Please check this KBA for more information) 
   
   
   
   
2. Make sure that the Applicant Status that is equivalent to hired, belong to either "OnBoard" or "Hired" categories.
   
   A. Check on the talent Pipeline, which is the equivalent status for "Hired" candidates.
   
   
   B. Make sure that the category which this status belongs to, by going into Admin Center> Edit Applicant Status Configuration
   
   C. Open the Status set being used by that Job Requisition by selecting Take Action> Edit
   
   
   D. Find the Status Name (1), and make sure its category (2) is either "OnBoard" or "Hired"
   
   E. If the category is neither "OnBoard" or "Hired", it must be changed via Provisioning. You may follow this article to change it:  215839 - How to change the application status category
3. If a candidate was hired in multiple opening and change the opening to 1 - this would not trigger the closure of job requisition and would not trigger the pop-up "When you complete this action, there will be no openings remaining on this requisition and the requisition will be closed. Do you want to proceed?"
   
   • Make sure to change the available opening first before hiring the candidate.
