2641586 - Leading Practice Compensation templates

What is it?

From b1805 administrators can add Compensation templates directly to the instance from the admin tools (Compensation Home), including any relevant sample lookup tables.

Why is this important?

Using this tool as a starting point ensures any project or implementation begins from the most up-to-date and recommended configuration from technical or business practice standpoint.

Prerequisites

• A currency conversation table MUST already exist within the instance.
• Also, individual templates may have prerequisites to setup, such as Employee Central-enabled or defined pay components.
• The Implementation Guide will provide detail for each of the Leading Practice templates.

From 1805 three templates available via the store.

1. - Stock (LTI Planning)
2. - Salary (Salary Planning)
3. - Salary (Salary Planning EC integrated)

These can be added from Compensation Home.

Additional Notes

• Lookup tables: If a named lookup table already exists, then no further lookup tables will be added to the instance when adding these templates. However, should there be no lookup tables then these will be added.
• Employee Central pay ranges integration is not enabled by default and would need to be configured once the template has been added.
• Should you attempt to add a template to the instance and find there is a message stating you are missing component LUMPSUM or event reasons please add these to the instance.

We recommend all the configuration settings, field mappings and options throughout the template are reviewed to correctly understand the template setup.
