When performing an ODATA Upsert request, you received the following error below:

Bad Request-[COE0018]  there is a pending data for external code XXXXXXX

This is an expected behavior

Approaches to avoid this issue:

1. Try full purge upsert by changing request URL and request body.
2. Deal with pending data - either cancel or approve it.
