2642975 - Logistics Area not Displayed for a Product in Stock Overview Screen

You are checking the stock details of a product from the Stock Overview screen. You see that there is no value displayed under the column Logistics Area ID in the Stock Overview screen.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to Common Tasks view and select the option Stock Overview.
3. In the Stock Overview screen enter the relevant product ID and click the button Go.

You can see that for the inventory details displayed for the product there is no value in the coloumn Logistics Area ID.

The reason why no Logistics Area ID is displayed in Stock Overview report for the product is because the product has the Stock Type: Goods Issue.
You can choose the value in the field Stock Type as Goods Issue in the Stock Overview screen and extract the report to verify the same. This means that the stock of the product has been issued for a particular Warehouse Order, and will be released from your stock only when the Outbound Delivery corresponding to the Warehouse Order is released.

If you are not able to see the warehouse order in the stock overview, Personalise the stock overview screen and mark the field Warehouse Order as visible which is available under the Untitled Table section.

The system is working as designed.
