2643113 - Error trying to save integration - IntegrationProcessConnectionOperation.getConnection() - Integration Center

Symptom

While trying to save an integration in Integration Center, you get the following error message for a specific integration:

"Error saving the integration. To preserve your work, please click Save->Export Integration Definition. Also please attach this file to an SAP Support Ticket Save batch MDF object failed! while trying to invoke the method com.successfactors.integrationbuilder.bean.IntegrationProcessConnectionOperation.getConnection() of a null object loaded from local variable 'connectionOperation' with the index 0"

or

"IntegrationProcessConnectionOperation/oAuthCustomHeaderParameters"

Environment

  • SucessFactors
  • Integration Center

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go To Integration Center
  2. Try to save an integration
  3. The aforementioned error is thrown

Resolution

The current workaround is as follows:

  1. Click in "Save As" for the affected integration;
  2. Change the schedule and press Set Schedule for the newly saved integration.

If the above does not resolve the issue:

  1. Refresh metadata of restricted OData MDF entities
  2. If still not resolved, run the MDF Object Definition To DB SYNC job (cf. KBA 2534674)
