How to enable real-time role based permission Target Population in SuccessFactors Compensation

• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

[Important Note : The toggle " Use Real Time RBP Target Population (Overrides Default 4 hours Cache Based Results)" will be deprecated from provisioning as part of 1H 2027 release]

Note: This resolution requires the assistance of your Implementation Partner

1. In Provisioning, go to Company Settings
2. Select Use Real Time RBP Target Population (Overrides Default 4 hours Cache Based Results)

Important:

• With this switch enabled, Compensation will call another RBP API to always get the latest target population every 4 hours, instead of using the cached target population
• The default state of this switch is Off (Unchecked)
• If Enabled, when accessing any of the below RBP related functions in compensation, the behavior of the system is always based on the latest target population of the current login-proxy user:

• YouCalc max size limitation check in Executive Review
• Budgets in Executive Review
• Excel import in worksheet and Executive Review - offline edit
• Executive Review Mass Action Report, Compensation Review Report

• Budget on Varpay Worksheet and Varpay Executive Review
