2643136 - Unable to Update Extension Fields Using Webservice DeliveryDespatchAdviceNotification

Symptom

When you try to update the data/values for extension fields in Inbound/Supplier Delivery Notification via webservice DeliveryDespatchAdviceNotification, the values in the extension fields are not updated.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

Execute the Request XML for the webservice DeliveryDespatchAdviceNotification with relevant data for various key fields, extension fields in Inbound Delivery Notification. You will notice that the values in extension fields are not updated.

Cause

We cannot receive an extension field from the supplier and populate in Inbound Delivery Notification unless it is a customer return scenario.
We currently do not support this requirement.

Resolution

This is expected System Behavior
