2643204 - Time Account Balance Not Shown in My Info Tile and Time Off ESS Overview

• My Info Tile in Homepage shows 0 hours/days for the balance of main absence time type set in the users Time Profile
• Balances are not shown for Time Types in Time Off ESS Overview page when employees requests for Time Off
• Administrators are able to see the balances for the time accounts when accounts are viewed in Manage Time Off page

1. Proxy or login as the employee then scroll down to My Info tile in Homepage. Balance shown for the main absence time type shows 0 hours / days.

2. Click on Request for Time Off link in My Info tile to navigate to Time Off ESS Page. Balance does not show up for the time types.

3. Unproxy or login as an administrator then check Manage Time Off page for the employee(s). Balances are displayed properly.

This is a configuration issue.

Issue occurs only when Time Account is made as a secured object in Configure Object Definitions and if the View permission for the object and Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework are not granted for the respective permission roles.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles then access the permission role of the affected users.

2. Click on Permissions... then go to Miscelleaneous Permission under User Permissions section then grant 'View' permission for Time Account.

3. Click Done then go to Metadata Framework under Administrator Permissions then grant permission for 'Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework'.

4. Save the changes to the permission role.
