Can we use ABR (Assignment-Based Rating) which available in Variable Pay stand alone?

  • Yes. This will be available from 2H 2021.

Can you have different hierarchies for each section?

  • This is currently not possible and there can only be one hierarchy used for Total Compensation plans.

Is mass action available to use in Total Compensation?

  • This is certified as available to use in Total Compensation.

Can you have different route maps? for example one for Compensation and another for Variable Pay?

  • At the moment this is not possible. At the summary level only one effective date can be defined for all tabs. This is under review moving forward.

What is the starting point of Eligibility in Total Compensation Template?

  • Total Compensation supports both starting points for eligibility.

Worksheet eligibility is controlled by Eligibility rules under Plan Setup> Plan Details> Eligibility.

You cannot control Variable Pay (the tab within worksheets) with anything else other than eligibility rules in this section. For example, using FALSE/TRUE within UDF column COMPENSATION_BONUS_ELIGIBLE does not work.

This column is used and reserved for Compensation Bonus, not Variable Pay.

Is it possible to view Variable Pay data within the Salary section?

  • Following the Q3 (b1808) release admins can configure a custom field on the salary tab to launch the Variable Pay profile in view mode.
  • This gives planners an option to view all of the Variable Pay information for an employee without having to switch tabs.
