2643569 - Single User cannot access custom applications

Symptom

  • Several users share the same role with access to a selection of Custom Applications
  • All users except one can access all of these applications
  • Checking both Internet Explorer (IE) 11 and Chrome, the same behaviour is seen for the one user not having access
  • The user tried to clear the browser cache and that did not resolve the issue

Environment

  •  SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

  • Product Support was not able to recreate the issue with a user modelled on the user having the issue
  • This issue was resolved by the user by:
    1. Sign out of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
    2. Review the Browser Settings for IE 11 and Chrome
    3. Flush the Cache for IE 11 and Chrome
    4. Close the browser
