2644399 - Making a field Forward candidates with Data Intact through Manage Templates Feature

Symptom

How can we make a field id forward with Data intact via Manage Templates Feature?

NOTE: It is very important to keep in mind this tool is extremely powerful. Modifications made to templates can have a direct impact on candidate experience, integrations, custom integrations, etc. Change should only be made by a qualified individual that is familiar with the configuration.

Resolution

Updating existing fields with the option to keep the data intact when candidates are forwarded, it is now possible to do that via Manage Templates Feature.

In order to enable Manage templates, please follow up this KBA: 2157630 - Enabling Manage Templates in Recruiting

To make this changes, see the steps below:

1. Select the application template --> Select General Settings --> Field defined. Click to modify

2. Select the field and is forward Intact can be set to true or false
