Symptom

How can we limit the amount of available users in the operator field types via Manage Templates Feature?

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All versions.

Resolution

NOTE: It is very important to keep in mind this tool is extremely powerful. Modifications made to templates can have a direct impact on candidate experience, integrations, custom integrations, etc. Change should only be made by a qualified individual that is familiar with the configuration. 

Limiting access to users in the operator field types can be modify via Manage templates feature in Admin Centre.

In order to enable Manage templates, please follow up this KBA: 2157630 - Enabling Manage Templates in Recruiting

  1. In Admin Center, go to Manage Templates
  2. Select Job Requisition

  1. Choose the template that you want to modify

  1. Click to modify the fields of this template.

  1. Go to the operator/operatorTeam definition and set the group name

  1. Click done and save your changes
