2644675 - The option "Notify via email upon completion" is selected by default

When scheduling a background job, the Notify via email upon completion checkbox is selected by default. Is it possible to have this unchecked by default?

Currently, there is no configuration available which would allow this checkbox to be unchecked by default.

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it (as per KBA 2090228), where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
