2644970 - System Triggers Material Flow Warning Messages While Performing Post Goods Receipt

You are trying to receive an Inbound Delivery from a Purchase Order, but when you click the Post Goods Receipt button, you receive warning messages.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Inbound Logistics work center.
2. Go to the Purchase Orders view.
3. Find and select the relevant Purchase Order.
4. Select the Post Goods Receipt button.
5. The system displays the below messages:

 Action processed with warnings.

 Determination of destination inventory failed for product KLM (KLM refers to the product id).
 Sequence determination result for item X (X refers to the line item no) is missing.
 Inventory in logistics area not available.
 Determination of destination inventory failed for product KLM.
 Sequence determination result for item X is missing.
 Inventory in logistics area not available
 Sequence determination result for item X is missing.

Material Flow is not maintained appropriately for the Site XYZ (XYZ refers to Site ID).

You have to maintain the Material Flow settings for the relevant Site. Please follow the steps below to maintain the Material Flow settings:

1. Navigate to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Go to Locations view.
3. Search for the relevant Site.
4. Select the Edit button.
5. Navigate to the Material Flow tab.
6. Navigate to the Destination sub-tab.
7. Maintain Logistics Area, Line Number and the Put-Away Strategy.
8. Select Save.
