2644989 - IBD is Configured for Batch Creation instead of IDN

Symptom

  • ERP creates IBD (Inbound Delivery) without batch master, proposing only the batch number. IDN (Inbound Delivery Notification) is created in EWM with standard characteristics related values, such as SLED (Shelf-life Expiration date), CoO (Country of Origin), etc. When IDN gets activated, these values are not copied to the PDI document.
  • ERP creates IBD without batch master, proposing only the batch number, either while item is already packed (inbound delivery is sent from ERP with planned HU) or when item will be packed (during the activation of the IDN, EWM creates HU based on relevant packinging specifications). IDN activation fails with missing batch error (Batch &1 for product &2 does not exist // Message no. /SCWM/DLV_BATCH101).
