2645537 - Set the Default Start and Due Date for Goal Plan Template - Goal Management

• How to set default start date and due date in a Goal Plan template.
• When a user adds his goal in the Goal plan, current year does not appear, instead it has the previous years.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

• Start and Due date depends on the year when the Goal Plan template was created. For example, the Goal Plan template was created last 2017 then Start and Due date automatically defaults to 01/01/2017 and 12/31/2017. If new goal plan was copied over from previous year's goal plan, it also copies the Start and Due date from the previous goal plan.
• default-value attribute has been hardcoded in the goal plan xml for the Start date and Due date fields.

To update the default Start Date and Due Date of the Goal Plan, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Templates. Go to the Goal Plan tab.
2. Select the goal plan template.
3. Click General Settings.
4. Select the default Start Date and End Date.
5. Click Save.

If the above steps did not work in your goal plan, this means the default-value attribute has been hardcoded for the Start date and Due date in the goal plan xml. To change or remove the default value, this will require a configuration change in the goal plan xml.
