Symptom

Which worksheets does a Compensation/Variable statement use for data when a planner has multiple worksheets?

Environment

SAP Successfactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. A Planner has multiple worksheets on a single Compensation/Variable Pay template.
  2. Please note that the setting "Do not duplicate employees on worksheet" will have to be disabled in Advanced Settings of the Compensation/Variable Pay template.
  3. Multiple worksheets have been generated for a Planner and worksheets have been routed to the completed stage so statements can be generated.
  4. Compensation/Variable Pay statements are generated and normal logic would be that the last worksheet generated would populate the statement.
  5. However, the statements pick up random data from each of the multiple forms.

Resolution

  1. It is best practice for a Planner to only have one worksheet per template.
  2. The statements will pick up random data when multiple worksheets are generated and there is no way to define what worksheet will populate the statement.
