2646230 - "Entity does not exists.DomainID" while creating new entities through connectors

Symptom

While creating new entities through connectors, the error happens: "Entity does not exists.DomainID"

For example: User connector has new organizations and while creating them, its giving the above error.

Cause

This happens because the Domain does not have that particular Domain Type. (In this example Domain does not have the domain type ID ORG)

Resolution

  1. At Learning Administration, navigate to System Administration > Security > Security Domains >
  2. Search the domain being used to create the entity > open the record in the edit mode > go to the Security Domain Types tab >
  3. Here make sure that the respective Security Domain Type ID is present (in this example it's ORG, for "Organization Security Domain Type")

IMPORTANT: If the required Security Domain Type ID is NOT present in the list, click on the hyperlink "add one or more from list" > select all the Security Domain Type that apply > hit Add
