2646470 - Error: The parent window does not run in a secure environment

Symptom

When launching a Web Dynpro application via Fiori Launchpad or the User Menu in Fiori App FInder, the frame containing the Web Dynpro application is gray and one or more of the following errors show in a alert:

  • The parent window does not run in a secure environment.
  • This application cannot run in that Frame. Parent: <host>
  • The following computer does not have permission to embed this application Parent: <protocol>://<host>:<port>
