2646803 - How to Maintain Workforce Person Data in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Workforce person data has not been maintained to generate the corresponding Business Partners by synchronizing an SAP S/4HANA workforce person and a business partner.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

There is no synchronization between workforce person and business partner in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems.

Resolution

Use one of these options:

  • For standard replication of workforce persons from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and for further information about this integration, refer to scope item JB1.
  • Beginning with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2208, users can use the Manage Workforce app (App ID: F6097) for local maintenance of workforce persons. Maintenance is possible only if integration scenarios such as SAP_COM_0001, SAP_COM_0301, or SAP_COM_0575 are not active.
  • To upload the workforce person master data, use Import function in the Manage Workforce app. Download the corresponding CSV template files and upload the already filled files in the app. For more information, refer to SAP Help Portal - How to Mass Import Worker Data.
  • Use the SOAP API Replicate Basic Master Data for Workforce from External HR Systems. For more information about features and restrictions, refer to Replicate Basic Master Data for Workforce from External HR Systems. Also refer to KBA 2905918. 
  • Use SAP Master Data Integration to replicate the workforce person from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. For more information, refer to Setting Up Workforce Management with SAP Master Data Integration.
