2647690 - What is the Need Review flag in documents?

You want to know that is the function of the Need Review flag under Item -> Documents.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning - All versions

1. From Learning Administration access and Item record.

2. In the Item record click Related More -> Documents.

3. When a Documents is linked to an Item there is a click the checkbox for "Needs Review".

(Or) Alternatively, the same "Needs Review" option can also be enabled (or) disabled from the Content>>Document Links>>Item tab section for the respective Document Link ID as well.

• This flag is here in the event that if the document needs to be reviewed, the administrator can select "Needs Review".
• A document's review status appears only to administrators and cannot be viewed in the user interface. 

NOTE: The system does not trigger any notifications when a document needs review & it's purely for administrative purposes.

Since there is no automatic notification that gets triggered to admins to review the documents, the admins in the system can make use of the standard report "Document Link Review Flag" to verify which documents need review & which document doesn't need any review.
