Symptom
- You have set up Kerberos SSO authentication but this is not working.
- So next you run python script hdbkrbconf.py and its result shows the following error:
ERROR: Could not retrieve HANA network domain.
ERROR: HANA DB network domain "." not contained in section [domain_realm].
- By looking closer into the result of the script the following can be observed:
hostname resolution (gethostbyname):
COMMAND: hostname --fqdn -v
RETURN CODE: 0
hostname1234
STDERR: "gethostname()='hostname1234'
- In this example, hostname1234 would represent the problematic domain.
