How to hide the "External Candidates" option from the Succession Org Chart or Position Tile View?

• SAP SuccessFactors Succession Mangement

1. Navigate to the Succession Org Chart or Position Tile View
2. Get the Position Card up of a selected Position
3. Navigate to the "Named Successor" section of the Position Card
4. Choose the "+ Add Successor" option
   
   The "External Candidate" option is available:
   
   

In Succession Org Chart or the Position Tile view, succession planners can choose External Candidates on the nomination dialog to search the existing candidate pool or create new external candidates. The external candidate card is the same one used in Recruiting.

If you wish to hide the "External Candidates" option from the Succession Org Chart or Position Tile View for all users you may follow the steps below

1. Admin Centre
2. Succession
3. Nominations Setup
4. Uncheck "Allow succession planners with recruiting candidate search permissions to nominate external candidates" option
5. Save
