Symptom
- When you print your Invoice, you have a Fulfillment Date on header level for the entire documents.
- Sometimes, certain line items have a separate Fulfillment date.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the Customer Invoicing Workcenter.
- Select the Invoice Requests View.
- Select invoice request from a preceding document.
-
Create an Invoice Document from the selected invoice request.
- Release it, or preview it.
- In the standard SAP template for Customer Invoicing you have a Fulfillment date set on header level.
- You also have a seperate display of Fulfilment for some Line Items.
Cause
-
This is the expected System behaviour.
- SAP Business ByDesign records fulfillment date on document header level and document item level.
- You can find entries in the .xml for item-pricing terms and for pricing terms on header level:
- <ProvisionDate>02.01.2018</ProvisionDate>
- If the entry on item level is deviant from the header level entry, then the value will be displayed on item level.
- If the two values are equal or the item level value is blank then the value will not be displayed.
Resolution
-
If you would like to remove this feature, you will need to create a custom template and remove or adjust the script logic in the template.
- You can find the script in Adobe Lifecycle Designer:
