2649792 - User Can See Employees That Are Restricted by the Restriction Rule 2008

You have a business user that is assigned to a Business Role where the work center view Employees is Restricted by the restriction rule 2008 - Org. Unit to the Employees view.

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

1. Login as the user XYZ (XYZ represents the user ID that has restriction rule 2008 maintained).
2. Go to the People work center.
3. Go to the Employees view.
4. You will be able see all employees that belong to the user's Org. Unit and employees that do not have a manager maintained.

The restriction rule 2008 - Org. Unit will restrict the user to see only the employees that belong to his Org. Unit. However, employees that do not have a manager maintained are not considered for restriction of access (homeless) by the system. So, all users will be able to see those employees on Employees view on People work center.

This is the expected system behavior.

 In order to restrict the user to homeless employees on Employees view, you need to maintain a manager to those employees.

Steps to assign a manager to an employee:

1. Go to the Administration work center.
2. Go to the Employees view.
3. Search by the employee that does not have a managers maintained.
4. Click on the Edit button.
5. On Organizational Data -> Select a Department to this user.
6. The Manager will be filled automatically when the Department is maintained.
