2650871 - While using TLS 1.2 only, some Contact Center components are not able to connect to the Databases

Symptom

Image/Data is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems.  Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

  • Customer tries to disable TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on Windows Server
  • Security requirement is that only TLS 1.2 should be allowed on the system
  • Some components in SAP Contact Center (CCtr) are not able to connect to the databases
    • Logs capture similar errors:
      • ERR> Exception in CheckDBConnectivity(). Reason: SQLDriverConnect failed ([Database Name]/08001/[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]SSL Security error|[Database Name]/01000/[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).)
      • ERR> AgentServer: Access control information loading failed...
