2651159 - Latest Jobcode is not Displaying When Making a Promotion in Compensation

The picklist displaying in the Promotion screen is showing the title/code at the creation of the record, not the latest value.

SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

1. Navigate to the admin center

2. Search for "Manage Data" in the tool search

3. Choose Job Classification from the dropdown and choose the required job

4. Edit the job code and/or job title and save

5. Access the compensation inbox from the main dropdown

6. Open a compensation form

7. Open the promote screen

8. Note that the job code/ job title is not displaying with the change made above

9. The system will now not accept your selection and you are unable to save the promotion

This issue occurs when non-EC integrated promotion is used in the compensation form. This is because when the promotion is non-EC integrated, compensation does not use MDF.

In order to resolve this issue, the following needs to be carried out:

1. Navigate to the admin center

2. Search for "Manage Job Profile Contents Import/Export" in the tool search

3. Choose Role - JobCode from the type dropdown

4. Export and import the file. This will refresh the jobcode

5. Note that the correct jobcode now displays in the promotion screen in the compensation form
