2651311 - The "My Team" pie chart differs from the "My Curricula" pie chart

Symptom

Manager find that there is a dashboard discrepancy when they compare the "My Team" pie chart with the "Curricula" one.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login into Learning >
  2. The "My Team" pie chart is displayed all green as seen below >

  3. Click the "My Team" tab and you will notice that there are some discrepancies compared to the "Curricula" pie chart for each employee.

Cause

The "My Team" pie chart here is only used to indicate if all the employees in the team are on track or not and since they are (employees) on track, then the chart will show all pie as green.

When we click the "My Team" tab, you notice that the curricula has different pie sections, this is because the "Curricula" pie chart sections only represent timeframes based on due dates.

Please, look at the curricula screenshot above. You will see that the employee has two different sections (green and blue), but they are both still within the timeframe and on track. This is reflected as a full green in the "My Employee" pie chart.

The information displayed in the "Curricula" tile is hard coded and categorized in 3 topics:

  • Due Later: Any item the user has more than 30 days to complete.
  • Due in 30 days: Any item the user has 30 days or less to complete.
  • Overdue: Any item the user did not complete in the required date.
