2651443 - LMS - Prevent Supervisor from changing required date when assigning items to direct reports


When a supervisor assigns a course to his Employee (direct report), he has the ability to change/edit the required date of the course.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Supervisor goes to "My Employees" tab

2. Assign a course to an Employee and place a "required date"

3. Notice that the supervisor can "Edit" the required date


This is working by design.


If a course was directly assigned by a supervisor to his/her employee (direct report), he/she has the ability to edit the required date.

This is only applicable when the item is assigned to the employee by the Supervisor. If the item is assigned via Assignment Profile or if it is directly assigned by an LMS Admin, the Supervisor will not have the authority to change the required date of the course.
