2652342 - PITR restore to different location results in 'unable to open database file ....' - SAP IQ

Symptom

Executing restore of Point In Time Recovery (PITR) backup to a different location could result in the following error:

/work/dbs/161res> dbisql -c "uid=dba;pwd=sql123;eng=util;dbn=utility_db" res.sql
Max recoverable offset: 0
Could not execute statement.
  Backup is unable to open database file '/work/dbs/161spx/iqdemo.log'
  SQLCODE=-1079, ODBC 3 State="HY000"

/work/dbs/161res/res.sql:1
  RESTORE DATABASE '/work/dbs/161res/161spx_res.db'

Note: Restore command is trying to open Source server's transaction log and returning an error.
