2655479 - Is it possible to close Time Accounts automatically after changing the Time Information of an employee?

You would like to know if it's possible to close a Time Account automatically upon an employee receiving a change of Time Profile, for example.

This is currently not supported by the system - There is no standard functionality to close the Time Accounts automatically while changing Time Related data - The only way to close a Time Account automatically is via Period-End Processing or Termination End Handling.

To close the Time Accounts manually, please follow the below steps:

1. Check the Time Account external code of the employee under Administer Time and copy it;

2. Go to Manage Time Off Structures > Time Account > Paste the external code;
3. Change the 'Closed' flag of the Time Account from 'No' to 'Yes'.

4. The Time Account now should be closed on the Administer Time UI if you filter by Account Status 'All Accounts':

NOTE: Do not change the other fields on the Time Account object - This will lead to data inconsistency and it will be out of the scope of Product Support - People activities.
