2655647 - Delegation In Approval Process

Employee B (B represents the employee's name) is an active delegate for employee A (A represents the employee's name). When a document is sent for approval, the Approval facet shows A's name instead of delegate B's name.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Sales Quotes view.
3. Open sales quote 123 (123 represents the sales quote ID) which was sent for approval to employee A.
4. Navigate to the Approval facet.

B is an active delegate of A, still the Approval facet shows A.

The Approval facet in the sales quote shows the originally defined approver as an approver (A in this case), not his/her delegate B.

If a valid delegate is defined, then for the delegate B, the Action button to approve the sales quote 123 is active. Hence, the delegate can approve the quote.

After the delegate B has approved the quote 123, the delegate B's name is shown in the Approval facet.

NOTE: After approval, the employee who has approved the sales quote, either A or B, that employee's name will be displayed in the Approval facet.

This is the expected and correct system behavior.
