Symptom
You created an Excel spreadsheet for territory rules and uploaded it to Cloud for Customer, but the territories are not derived as defined in the rules.
Environment
SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
Pre-requisite: You created an Excel spreadsheet for territory rules including exclusion conditions.
- Go to the Administrator work center.
- Go to the Sales and Campaign Settings view.
- Open Define Rules for Territory Realignment.
- Go to Upload.
- Select your previously created spreadsheet.
- Activate the rules.
Result: The territory rules do not work and territories are not derived.
Cause
You created an Excel spreadsheet with exclusion conditions as follows:
Exclude [ZABC ; ZDEF ; ZGHI ; ZJKL ; ZMNO]
Resolution
In order for the 'Exclude' operator to work correctly, it needs a preceding inclusion operator.
In the Excel spreadsheet, an exclusion list has to be defined as follows:
<> A001; exclude B002; exclude C003; exclude Z004
(A, B and C stand for standard values; Z stands for custom values).
No brackets should be maintained in the spreadsheet.
Please note, that multiple exclusion parameters currently only work, when uploaded via Excel.
In the UI, the exclusion operator is currently displayed as inclusion operator.
In the coming releases, it is planned to enhance the value handling related to the 'Exclude' operator.
