2656508 - The Word Undefined is Shown Briefly Before the Screen is Loaded in RUI

Symptom

Screens with an assigned Page Layout briefly show the word undefined in the facet in RUI/Fiori.

Environment

  • RUI
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into RUI.
  2. Open e.g. Service work center.
  3. Select Tickets view.
  4. Open any ticket.

Cause

The merger calculates and applies the assigned Page Layout after the Master Layout meta data has been loaded. This can cause the screen to show the word undefined before the entire screen is loaded.

Resolution

The is the standard system behavior.
