2656689 - IDM job in Error state 99 - Too many attempts to Start Job

Symptom

  • A job has not started or cannot be started.
  • The State tab of the job properties indicates "Status code from last run" = 99.
  • Attempting a Force Restart of a job results in the following error in the System Log.

    • Job was not started. Rescheduling

    • Too many attempts to start job
