Symptom

  • This Rep Server uses an ASE hosted RSSD
     
  • There are no data or log space issues in the RSSD database
     
  • Rep Server OS process id was killed before the startup
      
  • Rep Server reboot stopped at 'Reading rs_config':

           Using config file maintenance password for the RSSD maint user
           RSSD maintenance user is 'RSSD_maint'
           Using config file password for the RSSD primary user
           RSSD primary user is 'RSSD_prim'
           RSSD database is 'SYBREPP_RSSD'
           RSSD server is 'SYBBASE_ASE'
           Reading 'SYBASE_ASE.RSSD..rs_config' for system configuration parameters  <<< Hang point
