2657197 - AS Java User Management - Validation of UME configuration failed - No connection to the ldap server - socket closed

Symptom

You are unable to change the UME of the SAP AS Java system to point to the LDAP Directory. However, the port is opened and telnet connection towards the server with port 443 is successful.
