2657448 - You Cannot Add the Marketing Permissions Facet in Leads

The Marketing Permissions facet cannot be found in the additional tabs (facets) of Leads. Nor can it be added via Adaptation.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
2. Go to the Leads view.
3. Open any Lead.
4. Enter Adaptation Mode (Adapt -> Edit Master Layout).
5. Hover over the Facets Line.

Result: You cannot find the Marketing Permissions in the additional Tabs.

The Lead where you are trying to add the facet is has an existing account.

This can be when:

• you have converted a new lead to account and contact,
• associated a lead to account and contact,
• or created the lead with an existing account and contact. 

When it comes to Leads with existing account, by design, we do not display the Marketing Permission facet of the solution.

In such a case, the Contact or the Individual Customer created from the Lead have the Marketing Permission facet visible.

This is the expected system behaviour.

Please note : If a Target Group is created from Leads with existing accounts, the related Marketing Permissions will be taken from the Contact.
