2659446 - Location of CMR server index cannot be changed - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Running PD Web, the Search Index location can be edited in <portal_install_dir>/config/repository.xml inside the following bean element:

<bean class="java.lang.Object" id="cmr.server.config.index">

  • indexLocation specifies the location of the server index.
    By default, it is written to <portal_install_dir>/index.
  • A user-defined path is specified in the repository.xml file and PD Web is restarted.
  • Index location remains set to %CMR_HOME%\index\{...} in the Index Parameters.
