2659635 - Business Role Authorization Option Not Available When Creating Dashboards

You are expecting to create a Dashboard and restrict it to specific business roles, however the option to restrict Dashboard by Business Role is not available when you start a new dashboard.

1. Login into the system
2. Go to Analysis and Dashboard
3. Click on Add New Dashboard button
4. In the step 1 of CREATE NEW DASHBOARD screen, note that the following options are NOT available:
   • Public: Everyone can see this dashboard
   • Custom: Define which roles can see the dashboard
   
   

The Business Role assignment option is not enabled to your system in Business Configuration work center, therefore it will not be able to restrict Dashboards by Business Role.

Go into Business Configuration work center and Administrator Analytics Settings, on your current Implementation Project, and make sure the option "Allow Assignment" under "Assignment of Reports to Business Roles" section is enabled.
