Symptom

Total Claim Amount field in Employee Benefits Claim object is not editable when 'Multiple Proofs' is set to 'Yes' in benefit.

Cause

Expected Behavior

Resolution

  • 'Total Claim Amount' field is Read-only when multiple proofs is set to yes.
  • This field is calculated based on sum of claims by system automatically.
  • Also, this field is mandatory and cannot be changed to non-mandatory.

Note: If there are any rules being triggered after the multiple proofs are added, the total amount field will become 0. This is expected. All necessary rules need to be triggered before the multiple proofs are added.
