2660000 - Errors in Balance Carryforward Run Because of Depreciation Pending to be Posted

• When you perform the Carryforward Run for the Fiscal Period YYYY, you get the following error messages:
  'Depreciation pending for more than X Fixed Assets for Fiscal Year YYYY'
  'Closing of YYYY not possible. Perform Depreciation Run for Fixed Asset AA'
• You already performed the Depreciation Run for Fixed Asset AA.

(YYYY represents the year you are performing the Carryforward Run for).
(X represents the number of Fixed Assets affected).
(AA represents the affected Fixed Asset).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Periodic Tasks view.
3. Go to the Balance Carryforward subview.
4. Click the New button.
5. Select Carryforward Run.
6. Enter the relevant parameters.
7. Click the Start Now button.
8. Below error messages are displayed:
   'Depreciation pending for more than X Fixed Assets for Fiscal Year YYYY'.
   'Closing of YYYY not possible. Perform Depreciation Run for Fixed Asset AA'.

Although you already performed the Depreciation Run for Period YYYY, a Revaluation of Acquisition Costs was posted manually afterwards.
As the new Acquisition Cost for Fixed Asset AA is higher than the previous one, the system calculated the new Depreciation amount which needs to be posted.

You need to perform the Depreciation Run for Fixed Asset AA again following the steps below:

1. Go to the Fixed Assets work center.
2. Go to the Periodic Tasks view. 
3. Go to the Depreciation subview.
4. Click the New button.
5. Select Fixed Asset Depreciation Run.
6. Enter the relevant parameters.
7. Click the Start Now button.
