Symptom

  • Before S/4 HANA, you use AC03 transaction to create Service Master (Activity Number) for FSD (Freight Settlement Document) posting in SAP TM and ERP integration.
  • This Service Master is assigned to a charge type in the configuration: SPRO > Integration with Other SAP Components > Transportation Management > Invoice Integration > Invoicing > Assignment of Transportation Charge Types > Assign Service Master Record and Account Assignment Category.
  • In SAP S/4 HANA systems the material type SERV in MM01 has been introduced to create a service materials.
  • In S/4 HANA, is Service Master AC03 replaced by material type SERV created in MM01?
