2660457 - Mass Upload of Comments Field through Executive Review import not working in Compensation module.

Executive Review Import job completes successfully but no data is updated on the Compensation worksheets.

1. Navigate to Executive Review.
2. Click the Export button and download the .csv/Excel file.
3. Enter text into the notes field and re-import into the system through the Import button in Executive Review.
4. Navigate to Monitor Jobs and filter on Job Type: Executive Review Offline Edit for Template.
5. The download status of the job will be: Template Name: TestAB Number of plan entries successfully updated: 100
6. Click the Save button in Executive Review.
7. Navigate back to the Compensation Worksheets or Executive Review and you will see no data has been updated.
8. Even though in Monitor Jobs it states the plans were updated successfully.

This is caused by a ‘Wrapped Exception’ error.

• Information on this can be accessed via Provisioning, where an error message is displayed: Fail to update any plan entries due to Wrapped Exception: Wrapped Exception: DAOException caught: SQLException caught: ORA-12899: value too large for column "DC4PRD_PM100"."COMP_ENTRY"."COMP_ENTRY_SAL_NOTES" (actual: 2200, maximum: 2048)
• The error message is valid. The sytem will only accept a maximun of 2048 characters per notes field.
• Exceeding this limit, will lead to this error message appearing in provisioning and no data getting updated in the UI.

To resolve: reduce the characters in the field and upload again through the import and the data will get updated.
