2660570 - Special Characters Broken - BizX Platform

After the June 2018 Release special characters are being displayed as symbols in the customers instance.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP Jam Collaboration

Example of the issue with the French language:

Normally it's "Appréciation d'équipe" was being displayed as " ApprÃ�©ciation Ã�©quipe "

Reupload the .csv file with the proper texts and ensure it is encoded as UTF-8. A good way to see the file encoding is by opening the .csv file with Notepad++ and go to the Encoding tab or check it using Notepad. In case the encoding is not UTF-8

When using Notepad++:

1. Open the file using Notepad++
2. Click the Encoding menu bar;
3. Click Convert to UTF-8

When using Notepad:

1. Open the file using Notepad. 
2. Click Save as. On Save As, make sure you are selecting "All Files". 
3. On Encoding field, make sure to choose UTF-8. 
4. The file name should still have csv on it such as filename.csv to ensure that it is being saved as a csv file.
