Cannot create sales documents from a partner and partner contact.

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer HTML5/ Fiori

We will use partner and opportunity as example.

1. Go to the Partners work centre.
2. Select the Partner view.
3. Open a random partner.
4. Select the Opportunity facet.

You can see that the New button is missing, hence you cannot create a new opportunity.

This is the expected system behaviour.

The sales documents facets (Leads, Opportunities) only display the documents within the partner UI, hence you cannot create a sales document from here.

In order to see the sales documents within the partner UI you need to use the following steps:

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Select the Opportunities view.
3. Open an existing opportunity.
4. Select the Involved Parties facet.
5. Click the Add button.
6. Choose Partner in the Role field.
7. Click the Add button.
8. Click the Save button.

You will see the opportunity displayed under the Opportunities facet of the associated partner.
