2661288 - Task Types Are Greyed Out for Approval for Sales Quotes in Business Configuration

You would like to maintain task types for approval for sales quotes in Business Configuration, but you notice that they are greyed out.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects.
3. Open the activity list.
4. Open all activities.
5. Search and open 'Approval for Sales Quotes'.
6. Deselect one of the 3 task types (Sales Quote,Revise Sales Quote or Approve Sales Quote).
7. Observe that all task types are greyed out and cannot be maintained.

• The activity cannot be changed, because a task always must be created when working with an approval process. 
• If the task is not created the approver would not know what task to approve without BTM (Business Task Management).
• Activity is read-only and settings cannot be changed.
  
  NOTE: System will allow you to change the frequency but do deactivate  them to avoid issues.The same approach works for sales order for example, it gives a possibility to change the priority/frequency etc...

This is the standard system behavior.
