2662019 - "Failed to invoke service ---> Invalid credential" with SAP R3 user

Symptom

You create a FIM job with source or target application as BFC.

When opening the Source Properties, Target Properties, Mapping Table of this job, or testing the BFC datastore, the following errors are received.

  • javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Failed to invoke service ---> Cartesis.Framework.Business.Client.InvalidCredentialException: Invalid credential.
  • javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Failed to invoke service ---> Invalid credential.

BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Authentication(Web Service) is set as the external authentication for the BFC.

This issue happens with SAP R3 users but does not happen with Enterprise users.

The login user can access BFC, BOE/IPS or even run the FC web services authentication without any problem.
