2662341 - It is Possible to Edit a Lead in Parallel Sessions Simultaneously

Symptom

You can edit a Lead in separate sessions simultaneously: 2 users can edit and save a Lead without any error message or notification shown.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login with 2 users and perform the below steps simultaneously.
  2. Go to the Sales workcenter.
  3. Go to the Leads view.
  4. Open Lead ABC (ABC stands for a Lead).
  5. Click Edit and apply changes.
  6. Click Save.

Result: Changes are saved and no error message is shown that the object is locked, or that changes had been applied in a parallel session.

Cause

Due to technical reasons, the Lead TI is using the Business Object LEAN_LEAD not the Business Object Lead directly. This is a transformation node and hence is not locking relevant.

Resolution

This will be fixed in a future release.
